So Sergeant crashes the revised Williams chassis that Albon damaged, in FP1.

FP2 was a rain soaked wash out.

Should hopefully lead to an interesting quality and race if the teams haven't got the cars dialled in.

The Red Bulls were again the class of the field in qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix. As Max Verstappen was consistently fastest in every session, Sergio Perez ended up a close second at just 0.066s. McLaren's Norris was the closest challenger and will start from 3rd on tomorrow's starting grid.

Not a dreadful race, but not a classic. Easy 1/2 for Red Bull.

Enjoyed that. Most over taking done in turn one but a few elsewhere also. The different strategies were great to see unfold, especially with Ferrari.

Delighted for Sainz again. LeClerc had a brilliant first stint on the mediums after a disappointing qualifying session. Obviously Red Bull still a bit out in front but happy to see Ferrari best of the rest.
