I am, by no means, a Manchester United fan but you cannot deny they are playing good football right now and in Erik ten Haag they have a manager who is bringing the best out of the players he has inherited at the club and has brought in some astute signings of his own.

So they now have a capable manager, some decent players, and possibly an influx of even more cash and they've just won their first trophy, the Carabao Cup, in almost 6 years.

Having won the Carabao Cup, United are still in the FA Cup (they play West Ham on March 1), they face Real Betis in the Europa League Round of 16 and are sitting in third place in the Premier League (8 points behind the leaders Arsenal).

So they could still win more silverware this season.

On current form, I can see them winning the Europa League.

Casemiro has been a very good buy and Fernandes and Rashford have been in good form. Rashford especially since returning from the World Cup.

They have been a different team since getting rid of Ronaldo. As mentioned, Marcus Rashford has been on fire since the World Cup but they could be doing with a top striker. For me, I'm not too convinced by Antony and I think Jadon Sancho has been a huge waste of money but maybe ten Hag can get the best out of him.

They might win another trophy this season and I will be interested to see if they can build on their successes and challenge for the title next year.

I can see United winning the FA Cup and building towards a title challenge next season after some summer transfer activity.

I think the Man City, Liverpool and, to some extent, Chelsea dominance is over.

I've been impressed with Erik ten Hag and United finally appear to have their manager.

A few more buys in the summer and I think Man United will be the team to beat next season.

I agree that Liverpool and City need to rebuild so I would expect them to drop off a little from their previous high standards - the intense rivalry those standards have set may also have taken some toll on both Klopp and Guardiola.
