Wow!! What. HAIL MARY JAYDEN DANIELS!!!Silly DPI on Washington. That ball wasn't catchable. Washington are very naive at times in the redzone on both offense and defense. The Bears move to 5-2.
I'm stunned.

I've no words. WTF?!Wow!! What. HAIL MARY JAYDEN DANIELS!!!

Richardson might go on to become good but the first two seasons have shown that it was an absolutely crazy decision to draft him that high. What the last few drafts have shown is that very few QBs are ready after college and so many of them like Jared Goff, Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold etc are playing their best 5+ years into the league. These are players who had insane amount of reps so to take someone with no reps was nonsensical. 49ers did the same with Trey LanceThe Colts have benched Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco
Makes zero sense whatsoever. You drafted him #5 overall knowing that the one thing he lacked most was game experience and actual meaningful reps, and now you're gonna bench him with a 4-4 record in favour of a 39-year-old, with the best possible outcome for the season something like a Wild Card round loss while you still have no idea whether Richardson is the future of your franchise or not, but another year on his rookie contract will have gone by and he's a year older without a lot of additional experience.
Unless Flacco delivers them a Super Bowl this season, it's a mind-boggling decision. The only counterpoint I can think of is that they want to evaluate the rest of the offense with capable QB play, and perhaps move away definitively from Richardson (already) if they believe they can compete with someone like Derek Carr or Sam Darnold under center next season (which they can't). But it really does more bad than good for your supposed franchise QB imo. He's made 10 NFL starts.
Their defense did a good job making the Ravens punt.Denver turns the ball over on the second snap of the game!
