It helps being able to flesh out the character and his history rather than cramming it all into a 2-hour film.

I've been a reader of the Reacher books for 10+ years now, so I do like the character, etc and this just feels more "Reacher" than the movies.

Don't know the books at all and his lack of any acting ability made me wary of it. But having accepted that and the very clunky dialogue at times, it's a good watch. It knows exactly what it is and paces it all out very well.

Enjoyed it tbh. When I saw who the lead was I was expecting it to be a steaming pile of rubbish but in fairness it was good and Alan Ritchson wasn't as terrible as I thought he was going to be.

Just finished this, I thought it was decent. Not amazing, and it was a little difficult to follow in places.

The final episode felt a little predictable but satisfying nonetheless. I'll probably watch the next season.

The season 1 was average at best, especially the final episodes, not to mention the plot armour goes way over the top

I don't think it's a Hollywood epic, but it's good and worth watching. This is the Reacher that the book describes not a pruned midget like the movies.

I'm hoping they do Persuader next, and he has to fight Paulie, who is taller and bigger than Reacher
