So Ukraine are going to nuke themselves (even though they have no nukes) to turn the world against Russia?
Very worrying the way this is going as it looks like Russia is preparing the way for a nuclear attack.

Feels that way. Everyone calling Putin's bluff and the nut case feels he needs to do something so people actually fear it.

I'm predicting this to occur on Russian soil not Ukrainian if it occurs. He will do everything to make it a non-international incident to avoid the insane consequences.

Put yourself in Russia's shoes, while a pro-Russian government came with elections, a pro-Nato government came with the tourist revolution. A pro-Russian government came with re-election. Then there was the orange revolution again. The pro-Russian regions wanted to leave this time. Russia had to intervene. Then, unfortunately, guns, missiles etc. produced by Bayraktar company from Turkey were given to Ukraine in the western world. The huge Russian army in Kos suffered a lot of casualties. What would you do if you were Putin?
Ukraine is a sovereign country.

He should not have annexed Crimea and he should not have annexed those 4 other regions - you can't just invade them, make false claims and try to overthrow their government. This whole war is on Putin and the actions he has taken.

For years, Putin and Russia has tried to destabilize the west and for the most part, he has gotten away with it. He never expected the west or NATO to assist Ukraine the way they have and now Putin is backed into a corner and his only option is to keep on escalating the war.

It's most likely for their domestic audience, most of whom don't seem to have access to news other than Russian state propaganda.

It is good to hear the views of people in other parts of the world, yourself being in Turkey is much closer to Ukraine and Russia and some views and perspectives may be different.

Putin hasn't started this war because of any threat from NATO or the West. That is a very thinly veiled excuse as he tries to leave a legacy. He wants to recreate the Soviet Union and be the one remembered for bringing the Empire back together g this is also why he has attacked other former Soviet Union countries in the past. Ukraine doesn't want to live under a dictator where things like freedom of expression is oppressed and as a sovereign country they have every right to live how they choose. The annexed regions including Crimea are not Russian and Putin has no right to declare otherwise - if the rest of the world did not react, Ukraine would cease to exist and that cannot be allowed to happen.

Listened to Putin's Think Tank Q&A speech earlier.

Just a load of nonsensical ramblings. I'm beginning to think the bloke is mentally ill. He gets more and more like Comical Ali with each address he gives.

What gets me is when he says Ukraine and Russia are one country.

Putin was just talking to the Russians obviously to back him against the West right now, probably for two reasons: 1). running out of options to win the war. 2). scared of losing his power.

There is not much point for people outside of Russia to make sense of what he spouts.

Direct from comedy central.

Vasily Nebenzya, the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, has said that the Russian occupiers allegedly discovered drones in Ukraine that can "spread mosquitoes infected with dangerous viruses."

🤣 🤣 🤣

They've also got a right bee in the bonnet about the UK today, haven't they?

Apparently, the UK are responsible for sabotaging the Nordstream pipeline

We are also the mastermind behind the attack on the Russian fleet in occupied Sevastopol.

Predictably seems like we have another massive missile attack all over Ukraine.
