Warren Gatland has left his post as Wales head coach during the Six Nations after seeing his side suffer a 14th successive defeat against Italy at the weekend

Gatland had previously guided Wales to 4 Six Nations titles during a first stint with the nation between 2007 and 2019, but since returning in 2022 he's been unable to turn their fourtnes around.

Despite his exit, the nation could be set to pick up the wooden spoon for a second successive Six Nations.

Good start by Scotland. Shame they have missed both conversions because you'd expect England to come back strong.

Scotland should be further ahead, they dominated most of the half, but England could have scored a try just before half time.

I expect England to be the strong team as the game wears on so Scotland missing both conversions could be costly.

England have started the second half well.

Scotland are going to rue those missed chances. They've got to start taking their opportunities when they get within a few metres of the line.

England will punish them late on.

Scotland penalty count is giving them territory really.

England have the lead for the first time. Scotland's bid for a historical 5th win in a row looks to be slipping away.

Edit: and they extend the lead to 6 points.

England wins by one point. Scotland outscored them 3 tries to 1 but they failed all 3 conversions.

England are a terrible team to watch but they've managed to beat both France and Scotland now.

France were clinical today. They beat Italy 73-24, scoring 11 tries in the process

Ireland have to win the last two games. The French points difference is off the charts now.
