Episode 2 was fantastic.
It really was, loving the show so far.

Although the end might have dragged in a little. 10-minute sequence just to say he got a stick and is now an honorary Sand Person

Really good episode. The final sequence was nicely done.

Episode 2 was so good! Nice with this expanded lore.

Enjoying it so far but still waiting to see if it goes anywhere but it's only 2 episodes in so I'll give it the benefit of any doubt for the time being.

Boba Fett must deal with two very different threats.

A bit of a weak episode. The Wookie Bounty Hunter seemed like he could be an interesting secondary antagonist of sorts, but the fight was a bit boring as he caught Boba in his tank and ended the episode scurrying away. Hopefully see him again for some proper action. The Hutt's deciding "Actually, you've captured our bounty hunter, so we're just going to peace out because it's not worth it" was a letdown unless they're plotting to come back again later. And the Tuskan story just... ended... ended like it was nothing. Could also have really done without the Power Rangers and their Bike-Zords too.

So yeah, definitely thought it was a weak episode, which is disappointing as I have been enjoying it up until now.

Enjoyed the first 2 episodes but thought the 3rd was really weak.

Agreed. I like the backstory, I just think two back to back series about Mandalorians is too much.

Also, Tatooine is a crap place for any storyline. Move the show to a star wars city (obviously costs a lot more to produce then) and the whole vibe of the show changes for the better.

Lastly, this isn't the Boba Fett of the movies, the badass bounty hunter seems more like a former bounty hunter going through a midlife crisis and instead of buying a Porsche he got Jabba the Hutts lair instead.

Yeah, he is very softly softly, very likeable. Very not what I see Boba Fett as.

The painting that got destroyed in the chase, was one of Ralph McQuarrie's concept art pictures for Return of the Jedi and the original actually had Luke Skywalker in it, but they removed him for this episode.

Interestingly, Boba Fett is standing next to Jabba in the painting.

Also, considering this is meant to be about the criminal underworld, if feels less violent than Mandolorian.

This is the first episode where I found myself becoming a little disinterested and my attention was wandering. Some pretty ropey CGI at times, starting with the B'omarr monk spider at the beginning, and the whole mod squad on their "Mos Vespas" and the speeder chase wasn't remotely exciting.

Even the fight with Black Krrsantan felt a little tame and stiff (a bit like the first episode where Fennec and Boba were surrounded by the assassins).

A bit meh, admittedly.
