Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

Here we go.

This could go either way. Usyk is the better boxer but Joshua has the power. Joshua will need to end it early or I can only see Usyk winning.
Back on track. Class Usyk. Pure class.

Needs to retire Joshua. Schooled again, a stronger heavyweight in Fury and Wilder would destroy him

The size difference in a potential Usyk-Fury fight is too much, I hope they don't do it, they're both great champions, no need to put that together.

Officially the most bizarre thing I've seen in a boxing ring from Anthony Joshua at the end of the fight.

Totally bizarre.

That was incoherent ramblings from a bloke who took some punishment in the last few rounds of the fight. I feel for Usyk that his moment was stolen, and for Joshua who clearly had a meltdown, possibly head injury related, and made a tit of himself after a fairly decent effort against a superior boxer.

I watched the last 9 rounds. I gave AJ 1.

Even that one was more down to pressure than punches landed. It showed a slow mo of 1 of his attacks. 6 punches thrown, 4 missed, an upper cut hit Usyks gloves and a flicked jab at the end caught him!

And to the surprise of no-one Tyson Fury says he is coming out of "retirement" to fight Usyk.

I don't think Usyk has a chance against Fury - Fury is too big and I doubt Usyk would have enough power to even trouble him.

To give Joshua the fight by two rounds was an absolute joke. He won two or maybe three rounds at best.

Usyk was class throughout although he did feel Joshua's power a few times.

Usyk has said he is injured and won't be fighting again this year.

On social media Fury offered to fight Anthony Joshua in December. Joshua said he'd be ready. Now reports are coming that Fury ain't happy with it.
