Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

Genuinely think this Fury v Ngannou "opening ceremony" is the worst thing I've seen and I've watched untold amounts of shite.
He looked unprepared, twitchy and not particularly bothered about the outcome. His last two fights have been rotten

Fury was lucky to get the decision. Fair play to Ngannou he surprised everyone especially Fury who thought he could just roll out of bed and school him - I thought this too. I think Fury v Usyk will happen next and Fury will train like never before for it.

Embarrassing for Fury. Would have been less embarrassing had they just given Francis the decision but now he's got to hear everyone other than his own team and family talking about how Ngannou was the winner. Boxing does it again.

Just catching up with the Fury fight, admittedly through highlights.

If I had never seen boxing before I would have said Fury was the challenger. The other guy was robbed.

Fury is lucky the shot which put him down clipped his shoulder on the way or he might not have got up.

Fury looked like he had not trained at all and underestimated his opponent. Deserved to lose.

If he thought prior to the fight, he was ready to fight Usyk in a month or so he was off his rocker.

Also thought the elbow was desperate and deliberate.

Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will fight for the Undisputed Heavyweight championship in Saudi Arabia on February 17th 2024.

Fury seems to have found his voice again after getting a beating from Francis Ngannou, shouting abuse at Usyk, I really hope Usyk beats him.

I am bored of the Fury show. He was entertaining for a while, but not now.

No surprise to see him playing the normal insulting loudmouth yob role at the first face off.

I don't like him but I think he'll win this comfortably due to his freaky size. It is too big an advantage for Usyk to overcome.

I'd honesty have preferred Usyk to retire undefeated than face Fury.

"Day of Reckoning" is just a few days away.

What's the opinion on here about Wilder v Parker and Joshua v Wallin?

No idea about Joshua v Wallin. I don't think I've ever seen a Wallin fight so I'm not sure what he brings to the table and Joshua has looked anything but impressive in his last few fights now.

Parker is definitely a significant underdog but wouldn't completely rule him out of this one as you'd have to think that the beatings that Wilder took in fights 2 and 3 against Fury have taken a fair bit out of him and he has only boxed one round since October 2021.
