Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

What is everyone thinking for the Fury v Usyk fight?

It is an unbelievably tough one to predict, the bookies can't split them either.

Has the cut healed in time? It is probably the only way I can see Usyk stopping Fury.

The referee will play a huge part as well in terms of how he'll let things flow (or not).

My head says Fury. My heart is for Usyk.
As an Usyk fan, I'd like to see Fury come in on the light side. It means he can't bully/clinch as much although it would mean he can move around the ring a lot better, so a double-edged sword.

Very even fight imo.

Hopefully Usyk starts like a house on fire and gets Fury backpedalling early.

He'll still have 40-50lbs advantage I'd imagine like, I'm predicting 19 stone 5lb.

Oleksandr Usyk weighs in at 233lbs
Tyson Fury weighs in at 262lbs

30Ibs advantage for Fury but this is the heaviest Usyk has ever weighed in at.

Suprised by the weights. Thought Fury would be heavier and lean on Usyk.

Usyk's sheer skill will close the gap on the size disparity and he'll give as good as he gets, not sure if he's got that extra zip to really hurt Fury though. I'm going for a draw.

I think a draw is a decent bet. It's only 12/1 too so I'm thinking the bookies have an inkling.

I can't see past Fury winning. I hope I'm wrong because I think he is a tosser but his size will be too much for Usyk to overcome.

I've seen a few pundits talk about the scar being clearly visible from that cut Fury got in sparring and Usyk will target that area but he's got to get close enough to be able to target it.

Everything should point towards a Fury win. Usyk has to find a way to land telling shots without getting caught himself.

There is no way Fury is 6'9" though - I'd say 6'7" at best.

I still think a draw is a real possibility but I want Usyk to win for the same reasons as you.

Hopefully there is a better atmosphere for the main event.

It is like watching the football during COVID.

The Saudi crowd shows exactly why they shouldn't host big events.

A fight like this should be in Vegas or at Wembley but I guess money talks.
