For veterans of The Rockford Files there was not much more here than a continuation of the David Chase characters from three Rockford episodes. This is not to say it wasn't a great show, it was. But the genesis of it started on Rockford and is well worth checking out.

I am going to have to check it out. This is my first time watching The Sopranos.

Ahh, no need to watch the David Chace Rockford episodes then. They would be better and a lot more fun probably after you have binged The Sopranos for awhile.

I've just started watching this again.

Even on my 3rd run it's like I'm watching it for the first time, picking up on all extra little details I would've missed before.

It really does earn it's accolade of being one of the best shows but it's a real shame Gandolfini died, he was a fantastic actor.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Gandolfini. :(

Perfect television.

The performances of Gandolfini, Falco and Bracco are the benchmark every actor should aspire to reach.

One of the best bits of acting in it was from Aida Turturro too.
