David Ornstein reporting that Chelsea close to signing Havertz as they are the only club willing to pay the £80 million being asked. Great signing for them, hard to see all the lauded academy players like Mount and Abraham getting as much game time next year

I've always wondered how Juventus afforded to have such a huge squad of players who would play first team ball in any other club, lot of players to keep happy sitting on the sidelines.

Chelsea will have a very strong attack next year, but you would think it is their defence that needs more investment? (certainly with Werner and Ziyech already confirmed).

At the very least they could do with a new left-back and a stronger centre back.

Nathan Ake on Man City's radar according to Guardian. If Bournemouth go down you would imagine he will be one of the players to leave - £35m might soften the blow for Bournemouth.

Aren't both Ake and Laporte left-footed players? Two lefties would be interesting to see if it would work out as they've likely played their whole life on the left side whereas a right-footed player has likely played both due to the lack of lefties.

Just a rumour but it could well be true, in Spain the media have said Barcelona are staging a garage sale for Neto, Nelson Semedo, Samuel Umtiti, Junior Firpo, Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal, Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite, plus the returning Carles Alena, Rafinha Alcantara, Jean-Clair Todibo and Philippe Coutinho.

Real Madrid begin operation exit with hopes of raising 180 million euros (Hakimi, Reguilon, James, Oscar, Ceballos, Vallejo, Mariano, Javi Sanchez, Dani Gomez)

So then if both stories are basically right that's nearly £500m worth (they hope) of transfers from two clubs into a COVID 19 market. Good luck with that.
