The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international is entering the final year of his contract at Anfield, where he was valued him at £20m going into the summer window.

The move comes with Brentford close to agreeing a €10m (£8.4m) deal to sell No 1 Mark Flekken to Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayern Munich is looking at Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace. Eze, also 26, had a great season and it seems Bayern is keen to bring him in, especially after seeing how well Michael Olise did there last season. Liverpool's Cody Gakpo and Brighton's Kaoru Mitoma are also on Bayern's radar.

Manchester United are interested in signing Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo. He's one of a number of forwards they are internally discussing. Brentford will listen to offers for Mbeumo, and Yoane Wissa, but they are not under any pressure to sell any of their players.

Bruno Fernandes does not want to move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career, according to reports.

The feeling is he still has plenty to offer top-level European football, after Al Hilal offered him the chance to join the Saudi Pro League for £100m.

Will he remain at Old Trafford?

Good news for United fans. Bruno has said he is staying at Manchester and not moving this summer.

If they get a striker now, that'll totally change things at the club and it will be deemed a good summer's business.

It will, be interesting to see Bruno playing deeper as you'd imagine that Cunha will become the playmaker now.

Edit - they'll buy a new GK too obviously

Jack Grealish is reportedly expected to be left out of Man City's Club World Cup squad, with 'plenty of Premier League and oversea clubs interested in the winger'

Everton, Tottenham, Newcastle, and Chelsea are all said to be interested in the winger, but Napoli could well hijack any deal and take the winger to the Serie A champions

Manchester United have submitted an opening offer to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

The proposal values Mbeumo at £45m plus £10m in add-ons, which is some way below the kind of fee it would take for Brentford to consider selling their Cameroon international forward. But talks are ongoing as United work to reach an agreement for a player targeted by head coach Ruben Amorim to strengthen his attacking unit.
