Both Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak have more than 100 nominations according to campaign sources although neither has officially said they are running yet.
I think there would be uproar if Johnson returns as Prime Minister. If Johnson or Sunak wins then the Conservative Party will remain divided and therefore the country will suffer as a consequence.
Should be a General Election anyway. I think the country wants and needs change.

With the investigation into Boris misleading the House of Commons, in other words lying, he should be barred from even running.

I think Sunak may be the only candidate to get the required votes - I'm not convinced Johnson has 100 yet and I think it will be very hard for Penny Mordaunt to reach the 100 required votes though she is probably the only candidate who can unite the party.

Boris does not have the 100 he needs or else he would have declared his candidacy by now.
Boris Johnson confirms that he won't stand for PM. He claims he got 102 nominations (way above the number who've publicly declared). But he says Sunak and Mordaunt won't work with him and "You can't govern effectively unless you have a united party".
Thank goodness for that, clearly got nowhere near the 100 he needed
