I'll hazard a guess that it's probably not enough as you'd ideally want for someone in that role. And that goes for basically every MP in the cabinet. I've never really understood how they just bounce around from trying to sort out the NHS one year, doing education the next, ah now I'll have have a go at the economy.

I'm aware that they're just at the head of the department and have plenty of people giving advice, but it's just irritating.

Thought she'd be gone by Xmas before she even started as PM. End of this month now looks difficult to survive.

As for Jeremy Hunt, he has been a disaster in every position he has held in government, I can't see this being any different. The NHS is still reeling from the mess he made when in charge of health.

Yeesh, and I thought our Conservative Party was having issues, but at least their new leader is somewhat sane (aside from supporting anti-mandate protests, which worries folks like me who are pro-public health). However, they are not in power and don't seem likely to get there before 2025 at the earliest. While we have a minority Liberal government (think your Lib-Dems), our social democratic NDP (= Labour in their more left-wing moments) has pledged to support them in return for getting some of their policies implemented, thus avoiding another early election.

It should never have been allowed that the party members got to choose their new leader and therefore the new Prime Minister after they had ousted Johnson. It doesn't matter which party it is, they shouldn't be allowed to choose the PM. They could have chosen their new leader but there should have been a General Election to determine the new Prime Minister.

Truss has appointed a lot of incompetent ministers and we are now seeing that her policies are doing more damage than good - unsurprisingly, considering she promised just about anything and everything during the hussings and most people could see how unrealistic those policies were.

If she doesn't get ousted soon the economy will continue to tank and the damage to global markets and finances will increase.

The one that has caught my eye over the past few days is the Health Minister who says she recycles her antibiotics among friends and family!

This is the same Health Minister who said, nurses can leave the service if they are unhappy

So Liz Truss' promise to go for growth is not just reversed, it is dead and buried.

That being the case, how can she possibly continue as the PM.

How is anyone in the UK supposed to be led by her? This is totally unprecedented.
