Another day, another headline made for all the wrong reasons.

Suella Braverman has resigned as home secretary after just 43 days in the job.

Honestly, won't be sad to see her go. Grossly incompetent.

Ex-Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has been announced as the UK's new home secretary.

This has to be a real low point in modern British politics. The level of incompetence is unbelievable. Just goes to show you don't need to be capable to reach the top. It's not what you know, but who you know. The last two PMs' have really taken the country to the gutter thanks to their incompetence.

One thing I've noticed while listening to the radio this evening is that tory MPs spend much more time talking about what's good for the party, what will be better for them at an election and who will unify the party a hell of a lot more than they talk about the country.
