McTominay really got stuck in and played well I thought.

Bruno has been largely missing, been busy complaining.

Surprised by the draw, Villarreal didn't offer a whole lot going forward for the entire game.

When Man United equalised, I thought they'd go on to win easily but in a way it didn't really change the game all that much as it has been one way stuff for the whole 90 minutes.

For all of their possession and territory, Man United didn't actually create that much after Cavani's goal, still forced wide, though they're a bit more threatening when it's Greenwood rather than Wan Bissaka out wide.

Villareal really are so limited in attack, although it's partly as they are unwilling to commit any players forward at all, so it's always going to break down.

If anybody does score, surely it'll be Man United, but it could easily go to penalties.

Surprised Ole hasn't made any substitutions. Villarreal are having the better of the opening half of extra time.

Villarreal are looking more likely to score now. Man Utd have been fairly toothless for all the talent they have.

Brilliant achievement by Villarreal. DeGea shouldn't have even had a chance to miss after Shaw's penalty. Feel sorry for any keeper in that position.
