It did seem like a decision was already made based on how emotional he was when they interviewed him on the pitch. It is perfectly understandable if he decides to walk away. He has nothing left to prove, just a question of if he's hungry for more championships.

If he does retire, that might be one of the best final play sequences of any player's career.
I would be shocked if Donald decides to retire. He's barely even been injured in his career and has a chance to become the best defensive player of all time if he keeps going.
Totally agree, they keep saying he has nothing left to prove. I disagree. Yes, he has a gold jacket waiting for him, but a few more years of this level of play and another DPOY and he will have proven himself as not just a HOFer, but as the GOAT defensive player. Right now he is the best defensive player of the last decade or so... but he can seal it as best in history with a little more.
