The Chelsea young players might struggle to get games now with the the expensive signings Chelsea are making.

Norwich lose 2-1 to relegation rivals Watford. That win moves Watford 4 points above the relegation zone so you'd imagine that's the bottom 3 at the end of the season unless Villa manages a result tomorrow night.

I've seen reports today saying if Man City or Man United win the FA Cup, Liverpool may play the winners of the Championships in the Community Shield due to City and United having European commitments

Beginning to look bleak for Bournemouth. They picked up a point tonight against Tottenham but they really needed all 3 points. They did keep a clean sheet which is positive after their recent run but they are still two points behind both West Ham and Watford and safety.

I wonder is there a point going ahead with the Community Shield until you can get fans in the stadium? The idea of it is as much a fundraiser for charities as it is a curtain raiser for the season.

The 12th of September was a date I saw floating about.

Obviously, there are other competitions still running the Champions League final is on August 23rd.

Looks like Norwich are officially going to be relegated today. Two goals down to fellow strugglers West Ham at half-time. If things stay that way then Norwich will be down. Both West Ham goals have been scored by Michail Antonio. Surely he will be moving to a bigger club soon?

Watford losing 1-0 to Newcastle at half-time. Watford have been disappointing since the restart and if this stays the same they will still be in the relegation mix.

Shame about Norwich but since the restart they've played 6, lost 6. Scored 1 goal and conceded 15. I don't think they ever came with any real plan to stay in the Premier League - hopefully they don't sack Fark because of results this season.

Sheffield United are thumping Chelsea 3-0. Didn't really see that coming and it opens up the race for Champions League football once again.
