Can't believe Wolves have just thumped Chelsea 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.

Brilliant comment I saw from someone "The good news for Chelsea fans is that due to the contracts Todd Boehly has saddled the club with these players have got until 2031 to turn it round and get it right."

I wonder how long Pochettino has left at the club? 31 points from 23 games is not the return on over $1bn investment that the club's hierarchy wants or expects.
Chelsea are a mess. Pochettino would be better off quitting and going elsewhere for his own good.

Big win for Arsenal over Liverpool today. Liverpool didn't turn up and the better team won - massive mistake between van Dijk and Allison gifted Arsenal the lead though.

Going to be an interesting title run-in with 5 teams still in the hunt if you include Tottenham who could still have a run with a healthy team.

If City wins their games in hand they will be a point ahead which is quite amazing when you consider how poor they have been at times in the first half of the season. If they keep De Bruyne and Haaland fit I can see them winning the league again though I'd like Liverpool to win it again for Klopp.

Crystal Palace say manager Roy Hodgson is stable in hospital after he was "taken ill" during training on Thursday morning.

Palace cancelled a news conference after the 76-year-old became unwell.

It was widely reported on Thursday morning that Palace are set to sack Hodgson, with the club 15th in the Premier League and five points clear of the relegation zone.
Poor Roy. Hope he retires permanently from football now, just not worth it at his age.

I agree, he should step down and enjoy retirement. I actually thought he would have retired at the end of last season after doing a great job getting Palace to 11th in the league.

What a career though. Such a long time serving the game, coached in a number of countries and was always someone who happily shared his knowledge on coaching courses and via coaching videos. 47 years coaching/managing. Well respected among his peers and players.

Feels like a significant weekend in the title race.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal win comfortably away from home but City drop points at home to Chelsea.

Aston Villa win to keep up their top 4 challenge but Tottenham lose at home to Wolves.

At the bottom Burnley lose again and it just seems a matter of time before Vincent Kompany is sacked.

Good game between Luton and Man United. Man United are within 3 points of fifth placed Tottenham now and must have their sights on the top 4. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it either as Aston Villa's form hasn't been great lately.

I think Luton will survive this season. Like everyone else I had them as certain for relegation but they have been excellent over the past few months and I copuld see them finishing above Palace, Forest and Brentford. Also Everton if they fail to overturn their points penalty. If Luton survive it would be an excellent achievement.

Former Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Oliver Glasner has been appointed his successor.

Sensible thing for Hodgson to do. His health comes first and it looked like his time at the club was at an end as the results weren't good enough and some supporters were beginning to turn on him.

Crystal Palace got a gem in Oliver Glasner. He guided Frankfurt to Europa league victory last season and I think he'll adapt to life in the Premier League quite well.
