Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

Riyad season returns this weekend with two massive fights.

Beterbiev v Bivol 2 will just be more of the same this time around. I actually think Beterbiev will KO him this time.

Dubois has become cocky and there is nothing more insufferable than a confident fool. He hits hard and he throws volume. Parker will need to make him miss a lot and he will need to use the size of the ring to keep away and make Dubois work hard. His footwork and head movement need to be the best they've been if "current" Dubois shows up. I worry a bit for Parker. If Whyte/Zhang nearly ironed him out with his laziness then a fitter and more volume fighter like Dubois isn't a great match.

But Parker has been doing well recently. He's got quick hands and he's smart. I hope he doesn't trade like with Wilder because Dubois will be happy with that. Keep the fight going and aim to come on strong in the middle rounds. I think if Joshua hasn't rushed in behind his one good shot he could've caused Dubois plenty of problems. I tipped Parker and I do think he will do it.

Really disappointed for Parker that Dubois has had to pull out. Very risky fight now for Parker with very little reward.

I find it hard to see Bivol beating Beterbiev, he doesn't seem to have the stamina to hang with Beterbiev. His best work is the most eye-catching, but Beterbiev just has better consistency of output and more aggression.

The crowds at Riyadh just don't care, do they? Absolutely no atmosphere.

Sheeraz v Adames should be a good fight.

Quite a boring fight so far. I expected some fireworks. Sheeraz has been defensive.

Adames wins round 5, 4-1 Sheeraz though.
I've got in 3-2 to Adames. I don't think Sheeraz is doing enough. A lot of his punches are missing, his jab has been his key punch
