Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

Usyk vs Fury 2 this weekend.

I thought Usyk beat him convincingly the first time regardless of the scorecards or Fury's opinion. The referee should have stopped the fight when Fury was out on his feet.
I've uploaded brief highlights to the media hub. It doesn't show much but the eye-catching punches in the latter half of the fight are from Usyk. Much like the first fight he took over from the midway point

The punching stats tell their own story but still people will claim Fury was robbed.

Fury 5" taller, 4 stone heavier and Usyk completely bossed him. Phenomenal boxer.

I tried to score it with a Tyson bias and going into the last round I thought Usyk was up by two. I have no idea how anyone can find six rounds that Tyson won. Usyk threw more volume, more accurately, and was on the front font against the bigger man.

Whether it was four, two, one, round. It doesn't really matter. Fury didn't win that fight.

Tyson Fury Announces Retirement – Is It Really the End?

Well, folks, it looks like Tyson Fury has hung up his gloves once more. The former world heavyweight champ announced his retirement, saying he's loved every moment of his career, but this time, he's calling it quits for good. Or is he? Fury, now 36, last stepped into the ring in December, where...

Derek Chisora stunned Otto Wallin with two knockdowns on his way to a unanimous-decision victory on Saturday in his last fight in the UK.

Chisora is set to retire after his next fight, the 50th of his career, and delivered a remarkable performance, despite having a cut eye for half of the fight, with the three judges scoring the bout 117-109, 114-112 and 116-110 to the British fighter.

The 41-year-old is now in line world title shot after his fight with Wallin was upgraded earlier this month to an eliminator for the IBF heavyweight title

Not sure e how we got a 114-112 scorecard. Chisora totally bossed the fight.

Winner of Dubois vs Parker and then not sure

Would love to see him go down to Cruiser becoming double undisputed and both weights then retire and he's in the top 3 ever in terms of achievements

Riyad season returns this weekend with two massive fights.

Beterbiev v Bivol 2 will just be more of the same this time around. I actually think Beterbiev will KO him this time.

Dubois has become cocky and there is nothing more insufferable than a confident fool. He hits hard and he throws volume. Parker will need to make him miss a lot and he will need to use the size of the ring to keep away and make Dubois work hard. His footwork and head movement need to be the best they've been if "current" Dubois shows up. I worry a bit for Parker. If Whyte/Zhang nearly ironed him out with his laziness then a fitter and more volume fighter like Dubois isn't a great match.

But Parker has been doing well recently. He's got quick hands and he's smart. I hope he doesn't trade like with Wilder because Dubois will be happy with that. Keep the fight going and aim to come on strong in the middle rounds. I think if Joshua hasn't rushed in behind his one good shot he could've caused Dubois plenty of problems. I tipped Parker and I do think he will do it.

Daniel Dubois has fallen sick and is currently being evaluated by a doctor.

It is understood a replacement is being pursued if he is unable to move forward with his defence against Joseph Parker on Saturday in Saudi Arabia.

Dubois is out of the fight with Parker due to illness. Parker will now fight Martin Bakole. Not a great match up for Parker but I'm looking forward to seeing how Bakole handles the step up because Parker is a significant step up from anyone he's fought so far.
