Red Bull delivered the most dominant season in the sport's history in 2023, winning 21 out of 22 races as Verstappen romped to a third successive drivers' title.

The team will begin 2024 as clear favourites with the same regulations remaining in place, but according to Verstappen, have looked to push the needle once more with the design of their RB20, which was revealed at the team's Milton Keynes factory on Thursday.

Doesn't look liek they are giving anything away, only 3D renders available so we'll need to wait until testing to see the real thing.

The Red Bull does look quite sleek, pointy and not too curvy. Smooth lines.

I guess you never know but will it look a bit different come testing next week?

I know this won't be the final/actual form per se but is it just me or does the engine cover look quite a bit differently shaped than before? I dont have a picture to compare right now but that's the first part that drew my attention.

Same ol', same ol' with Verstappen but Ferrari could be very entertaining this year (yes, even more so) because I'm sure Carlos Sainz will have a point to make.

I know its only first day of testing, but disappointed that there is a pretty big gap between Max and the rest, but not totally shocked.

In a slight case of deja vu a red flag happened in the morning session when Charles Leclerc went over a loose drain cover which required a floor change to the car. This caused the morning session to finish an hour early and the afternoon session extended to 5 hours.

Carlos Sainz recorded the fastest time of the day on the softer C4 tyre.

The Red Bull of Sergio Perez had a couple of issues with a brake problem in the morning and a glitch in the afternoon.

Lando Norris in the McLaren spent a while in the pits in the afternoon with an issue.

Ferrari should be encouraged, Mrcedes, not so much. Looks like Lewis Hamilton may be the #2 there this year. The Racing Bulls looked good and will again be the team to beat, obviously.

Christian Horner will continue in his role as Red Bull team principal after allegations of inappropriate behaviour made against him were dismissed following an investigation.
Red Bull's team principal Christian Horner has been cleared following an internal investigation into his behaviour towards a female colleague.

Allegations of inappropriate and controlling behaviour had been made against the 50-year-old.

"Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial," a spokesperson for the company said.

Horner, who has led Red Bull since 2005, denied the allegations.

The statement, which was issued by Red Bull's head office in Austria, added: "The complainant has a right of appeal."

Red Bull provided no details of the allegations or the investigation.

The statement said: "The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned.

"Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards."

I've got the feeling Horner's management style rubbed someone up the wrong way and it led to allegations and some media frenzy. Hopefully, this is the end of the matter and the focus is on the racing.

From some of the recent Red Bull footage, you can really see how big F1 cars have gotten since the RB1.

It is insane.
