I'll probably just sub to Ubisoft+ for a month to play this. Handy way to play new Ubisoft games for half the cost although they do usually fall in price quite quickly.

You'll get access to the ultimate edition. That's what I did for Avatar and Prince of Persia

Ubisoft has revealed the full rundown of what you can expect from Star Wars Outlaws post-launch season pass content, with two story focused DLC packs set to feature fan favourite chracters now pencilled in for later this year and early next.

These two story packs will fit in alongside the exclusive mission starring Jabba the Hutt which Ubisoft faced backlash for attaching to the season pass earlier this year, with the publisher subsequently confirming that Jabba and his cartel will also pop up in the base game. However, before you panic, both packs will "also be available for separate purchase" outside of the season pass.

As revealed on Ubisoft's website, the Star Wars Outlaws team has plenty of post-launch content planned, all of which will be available for Season Pass owners. The pass isn't currently available separately, but it is included in Star Wars Outlaw's Gold and Ultimate Editions — both of which will be available to Ubisoft+ subscribers when the game launches early on August 27 for Xbox Series X|S later this month, three days before its full launch on August 30.

The new content will add two new story packs (which will be available as standalone DLC): Wild Card and A Pirate's Fortune. Wild Card is expected to release sometime this Fall and sees Kay cross paths with Lando Calrissian, the notorious gambler, as she attempts to infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament. Alongside the story content, Season Pass owners will also receive the Hunter's Legacy and Cartel Ronin Bundles, containing an assortment of cosmetics for Kay, Nix, the speeder, and Kay's ship, the Trailblazer.

As for A Pirate's Fortune, it'll arrive sometime during spring 2025 and introduces Hondo Ohnaka as Kay settles old scores with ruthless pirates.

Elsewhere on the roadmap, Ubisoft reveals that Season Pass owners will be able to access an exclusive mission at launch called Jabba's Gambit, which sees you attempting to pay off ND-5's debt to the Hutt Cartel. You'll also get a selection of outfits at launch thanks to the Kessel Runner character pack.

Is anyone going to pick this up? I love Star Wars so I probably will get dragged into it given it's open world but my god, it doesn't look that great.

Its Ubisoft. Give it 3-4 months and it will be at least 30% or more off.
