Is anyone going to pick this up? I love Star Wars so I probably will get dragged into it given it's open world but my god, it doesn't look that great.
Like Tom Tom mentions above, I think I'll wait until any bugs have been squashed, and also Assassin's Creed has been released and subscribe to Ubisoft+ for a month.

Did you subscribe to Ubisoft+ - most of the reviews and early access comments I've seen are very positive?

Yes, I subscribed. With future patches fixing bugs and DLC expansions this should be worth getting into.

For me, many reviews seem to infer that if you like Ubisoft games, you'll like this game. And further, if you like Star Wars, you'll really like the game.

I'll pick it up when it inevitably goes on sale in a few months.

Completed.

It's a pretty good game! Mostly, stealth with some gun play. Both of those just about make par, but the real highlight is the world. Fantastic Star Wars vibes. The snowdrop engine is very impressive.

Just curious, how long did it take you to complete it?

Ubisoft has announced the open-world sci-fi adventure will get its first bit of previously announced post-launch story DLC - starring Lando Calrissian - on 21st November.

Titled Wild Card, it sees Star Wars Outlaws protagonist Kay Vess being hired to infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament. "But as she crosses paths with the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian," Ubisoft teases, "she soon learns that another game is being played."

Wild Card arrives alongside two more Star Wars Outlaws cosmetics bundles - Hunter's Legacy and Cartel Ronin - which will also be part of the Season Pass, and a free update introducing new Contracts for all players arrives on the same day.

Ubisoft's efforts to improve the Star Wars Outlaws experience continue today with arrival of its newest update, this time promising further stealth tweaks, speeder improvements, performance and stability optimisations, and more.

Title Update 1.2, as the latest update is officially known, weighed in at 3.8GB on PS5, 4.71GB on Xbox Series X/S, and 5.6GB on PC. Its primary goal, according to Ubisoft's release notes, is "improving the camera on your speeder and its responsiveness", as well as "other tweaks to ensure your adventures are smoother and more rewarding."

Top of its list of notable changes, though, are those aforementioned stealth tweaks. Star Wars Outlaws' previous Title Update 1.1.2 already made some initial changes to the games's stealth sequences - which director Julian Gerighty acknowledged were "unfair" and "incredibly punishing" shortly after launch - but Title Update 2 seems to take things further.
