The Mercedes looking good, battle between Hamilton and Bottas for pole. Hamilton edging it so far.
Pierre Gasly up into third. Another superb drive. Really been some impressive driving considering the conditions.
Great response from Verstappen but Hamilton goes faster again. Super lap there by Hamilton, all sectors purple
Lewis Hamilton will start the race on pole. What a drive.
And he just beat it by going all purple in all sectors again.
That lap from Hamilton is absolutely stunning. 1.2 seconds clear
I'm not a Hamilton fan but I have to say his performance in qualifying was outstanding.
