Ubisoft has announced that the next installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise, Assassin's Creed Shadows, will be released worldwide in November.

Led by Ubisoft Quebec the game takes you to 16th Century Japan, a time when the country is heading towards unification, where brutality and unrest grow with new coalitions and corruptive foreign influences try to further their agendas.

The two main characters at least sound like they could be interesting, but knowing Ubisoft writing I won't be holding my breath.

Developer Steel City Interactive and publisher Deep Silver have announced that their boxing game, Undisputed, will be leaving early access on PC on October 11. Alongside the full PC release, Undisputed is also getting a console release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on the same day. Check out the trailer announcing the release date below.

Riven remake out on June 25th.

The Myst real-time remake was what finally got me through that game a year or two ago and I really liked it. I know a lot of Myst fans consider Riven the best of the series so very keen to give it a go.

I put fierce hours into Riven and never got anywhere.

Pre-internet days where I was stumped and couldn't figure out how to move forward.

If there's one way to guarantee I won't even consider playing a game, even if free, is if they have unskippable, intrusive ads in the game. Seems EA think they haven't had enough of a scandal lately, and while a month ago they announced that they are looking at ways to implement ads in all their games, seems FC25 will be the first, and soon....

It'll really depend on how they're implemented, but if they're charging for a game there better not be anything more than the odd in game billboard or cans of X drink everywhere. But if I have to watch a video, or have splash ads that I've to click to close, I will 100% not play that game, regardless of what it is. This is something that every gamer needs to vocally be against, because creep is real and a small thing now will be standard in the future. Remember, they said all their games. All of them.

But if I have to watch a video, or have splash ads that I've to click to close, I will 100% not play that game, regardless of what it is. This is something that every gamer needs to vocally be against, because creep is real and a small thing now will be standard in the future. Remember, they said all their games. All of them.

This is such a bad idea. Hopefully gamers will let EA know exactly what they think of the idea before any other developers decide it should be the new norm.

One of my least favourite Microsoft trends is their delisting of Forza games. 2018's Forza Horizon 4 next up on the chopping block, from December, so get it while you can.

They aren't the only ones at this - Sony did the same with Drive Club. But always stands out as egregious given the popularity of the Horizon games. A particular pain for those who played the game through Game Pass. They're giving a free copy to any subscribers who bought DLC at least, but still a case study in the drawbacks of not "owning" a game.

Is this not delisted because of something to do with car licencing agreements or something?

Stupid move. It will backfire on EA and any other publishers that try it.
