Setien is gone. Sacked. He looked like a dead man walking from the first whistle. Manager only in name, the players stopped playing for him months ago.
A shambles of a performance, devoid of any cohesive structure, offensively or defensively.
At an average age of 29 years and 329 days per player, it was the oldest starting lineup ever fielded in the competition.
No legs in midfield and very little pace up front against a team with the highest defence in the tournament.
Ter Stegen had an absolute mare, constantly gave the ball away.
The back 4 looked like they had ants in their pants from the kick off.
Semedo at right back was beyond awful - at fault for 2 if not 3 goals, couldn't even do the basics right.
Busquets legs have gone he is finished, Roberto was dreadful, Rakitic should have started ahead of him .

It certainly seems like the end of Barcelona's golden era. Hard to imagine Messi at any other club but I'm sure he'll be having a think about his future after that shit show of a performance.
Barcelona needs to rebuild over the next 4-5 years. They need to identify a manager for that job, and without needing to spend 100m a year on transfers, pick up the right players for that manager to succeed.
Bayern, Roma, Liverpool, and Bayern again have all humiliated them in the Champions League. It's been clear that the decline has been there for quite some time.
That might finally be the nail in the coffin of the current Barcelona hierarchy. A shambles doesn't even begin to describe it.

He always overthinks what should be simple. Lyon were going to set up to frustrate. He needed a bit of inventiveness and guile in the midfield. One of the Silvas, maybe even Mahrez, would make this a totally different game. He's played into Garcia's hands here. Think they'll still win it well if he trusts in his attack next half.
