Big 45 minutes in store at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona and PSG is 1-1, Barca are 4-3 up on aggregate but have had a defender sent off in the first half. I'd be surprised if PSG don't score one or two goals in the second half.

Dortmund leading 2-0 at half-time and 3-2 on aggregate against Atletico in the other match.
Dortmund have scored 2 goals in the space of 3 minutes and now lead 4-2 (5-4 on aggregate)!!

Epic meltdown from Barcelona - 4 goals conceded and 3 red cards (including Xavi and their goalkeeper coach).

Arsenal out.

City and Madrid into extra-time. Could go either way. Penalties are a possibility. Alvarez on for Haaland at the start of extra-time.

City v Madrid heads to penalties.

I've got a feeling Madrid might win this - City have taken off De Bruyne and Haaland who would both have been penalty takers.

City had 32 shots but only the one goal to show for it - they didn't really create many clear chances.

Madrid defended brilliantly but didn't offer much going forward after scoring the goal.

I fancy Madrid to win the shootout too.

Madrid win on penalties!!!

Bernardo Silva and Kovacic had their penalties saved. Luka Modric missed for Madrid. Ederson ended up taking one and scoring for City.

Madrid win it 4-3 on penalties.

I think Guardiola got his substitutions wrong.

Haaland didn't do anything but I'd have kept him on along with bringing on Alvarez. I'd have kept De Bruyne on too. Kovacic and Stones weren't going to win him the game.

Madrid had a plan and stuck to it perfectly after getting their goal. Fair play to them.

Guardiola said Haaland and De Bruyne asked to come off as they couldn't continue. If true, he probably should have rested them for the Luton league match at the weekend.

Madrid just seem to find a way to win when it comes to the Champions League. Win ugly but win.

Decent game tonight between Munich and Madrid. Nice to watch it not caring who wins.

Maybe Bayern would have taken a 2-2 before kickoff consider how their season has gone but they will probably feel a bit let down. It should have been a better result for Bayern. Real were their usual cynical self, not doing much, lot of game breaking fouls.

Still all to play for but you'd fancy Madrid to progress at home.
