Strange choice by Guardiola to make 10 changes. They were well beaten on the night. Leverkusen defended well, but they never really looked like conceding a goal. Surely secure qualification and rest players once you are guaranteed a top 8 finish?

City play Real Madrid next in the Bernabeu, if they lose, they most likely will drop out of the top 8. I don't believe Guariola and City want to go through the qualification stage again. Two additional matches in busy February are the last thing his team needs.

Arsenal absolutely dominated Bayern. It's just impossible for them to keep up this kind of form. They will have a dip at some stage, just hope it doesn't send them on a downward spiral, as they are a joy to watch.
