It was only a day or so ago that Nicola Sturgeon was saying relaxing the 2m rule was "reckless". Today she says she's is "looking at all options".

I said from the start of this that she had little material room for manoeuvre and when big calls are being made, so its been proven.
Interesting to hear that Sturgeon said she hadn't seen the scientific data Boris Johnson is using which also tallies with the Welsh First Minister saying nobody from Westminster had contacted him in 3 weeks.

My understanding was that the study results into the 2m rule were UK wide which would tie in with what both Scotland and Wales are saying. If so England is either jumping the gun or have decided to go with some other advice.

Yeah it seems strange that both First Ministers are basically saying the same thing and Johnson going down a different route

If (and it is a huge if) death and infection figures stay the same or reduce over the next 2 days, would there be any likelihood of us moving to phase 3 sooner?

Probably not. But it might mean we can move into it in its entirety on the 16th of July.

Big changes in England and opening the pubs with 1m distancing seems wild given where we are atm. Not a gradual step at all but fair play to them.

Sturgeon can't really win now. I'd have expected beer gardens as a halfway house before letting folk get bevvied in a busy pub, but if she goes with that it's still not as "good" as what they've got down South.

I just want to go to the gym and go to the football. I think both of those things are still a bit of a pipe dream at the moment. The rest of the stuff doesn't really bother me, I'm not desperate for going to pubs or out for meals or visiting shops. Just want a wee gym visit and to go to some football.

Hopefully gyms will open sometime in the next month
In theory, gyms should be easier to manage than pubs. I'm sure most gyms could easily implement a system where you book an hours slot with, say, half an hour between slots for cleaning. It says a lot for us as a country that pubs seem to have taken priority over health and fitness.
