I don't get why teams like Leeds are saying they will sue. If Everton's overspend was in 21/22 then Burnley has a case. If it was 22/23 then Leicester has a case. Everton could only possibly have replaced one of those teams in the relegation zone and only in one of those seasons so why are the other teams trying to stick their noses in the trough?

"Two of those nine grounds were upheld by the appeal board, which has substituted the original points deduction of 10 for six.

All seems very random how the points deductions are worked out. Surely a second breach should carry a bigger punishment?
Whether you agree with the punishment or not, point reductions with 7 games to go is ridiculous.
