Jose Mourinho was sacked by AS Roma yesterday.

AS Roma have announced that José Mourinho and his technical staff will leave the Club with immediate effect.

Mourinho had been announced as the 60th coach in Rome's history in May 2021.

He led the team to winning the Conference League in Tirana on May 25, 2022 and to the Europa League final in Budapest last season.

"We thank José on behalf of all of us at AS Roma for the passion and commitment he has put in since his arrival in the yellow-red", said Dan and Ryan Friedkin.

"We will forever keep great memories of his management, but we believe that, in the best interest of the Club, an immediate change is necessary.

"We wish José and his colleagues all the best for the future."

Kylian Mbappé has informed PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi that he will LEAVE the club as free agent in the summer.

The terms of the departure are yet to be fully agreed but it is now confirmed to PSG's board that Mbappe will depart the club.
