The day has come - PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!!

Ryan Fraser not signing a new short term contract.

Would guess that is him done for the season, maybe. He would be contracted to play over the next 2 weeks, but will Bournemouth play him? His heart clearly won't be in it.

A poor showing by Fraser. I also posted in the Transfer Market Thread another poor showing, this time by Pedro.

Not that Chelsea can complain too much though, as Werner is doing the same which benefits them.

First game back and there is already controversy. The ball was clearly over the line but the referee's watch doesn't buzz so he can't give the goal. A big let-off for Aston Villa, Sheffield United will feel hard done by and rightly so.

I have to say I'm impressed by the crowd noises. At first, I didn't notice any difference. It is more noticeable when there's a chance or something which would get a proper reaction in real life.

I know they've had a perfectly good goal ruled out (or not given) but Sheffield United have been fairly poor tonight. The league postponement maybe came at the wrong time for them - they were flying before.

Once you can suspend your disbelief a little bit, the pumped in crowd noise actually adds a lot to the match IMO. I'll be using it going forward anyway but I can understand why it's not for everyone.

The best thing about the Spurs - Man United match was Roy Keane's half-time rant over David De Gea ?

A draw was probably the correct result. Spurs looked dead on their feet towards the end with Kane nowhere near fit. Man United deserved the equaliser.
