They are keen on signing Leicester forward Harvey Barnes. Newcastle are also interested, but they have yet to make a bid.

Busquets, 34, left Barcelona at the end of the season having played his entire professional career at Camp Nou and much of it alongside Messi.

Inter Miami teased the midfielder's signing in a social media post on Friday but have now confirmed his arrival on a two-year deal.
