Fulham have made £15m bid for Ajax defender Calvin Bassey. The Cottagers are awaiting a response from the Eredivisie side, where he has four years remaining on his contract.

Ajax signed Bassey from Rangers last July for an initial fee of £19.6m (£22.7m including add-ons).

Rangers would also receive a 10-per-cent sell-on fee should Bassey move – that clause was inserted into the deal with Ajax last summer.

West Ham are interested in Chelsea and England midfielder Conor Gallagher. Gallagher has two years left on his contract and it is believed Chelsea would be open to extending.

The England midfielder is on Chelsea's tour of the USA and - as it stands - boss Mauricio Pochettino is planning for him to be part of the squad next season. Reports suggest Chelsea value him well in excess of £40m.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is leaning towards accepting an offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq.

Liverpool and Al Ettifaq have agreed a deal in principle that will see Jordan Henderson move to the Saudi Arabian club.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has told relatives he will never play for Fulham again after the club valued him at £52m.

The price, that has been quoted to agents, is likely to put off interested clubs.

Mitrovic, who was considering staying away from the club tour of America, has now been convinced by agent Pini Zahavi and PFA representatives to join the squad as they depart for the United States on Thursday.

Mitrovic's agent has urged Tony Khan to lower his value to somewhere between £35m and £45m.

It gives Marco Silva an issue on tour with an unhappy striker in his squad, as doubts now emerge over Mitrovic's willingness to play in the opening game of the Premier League season at Everton on 12 August.

Kyle Walker is keen to talk to Bayern Munich about a possible move to the Bundesliga side, according to reports in the media.

Bayern have been confident in their pursuit of Walker for several weeks, but there is no agreement yet on a fee.

Talks between the two clubs are ongoing, and these are expected to be face-to-face while both sets of officials are in Japan next week.

City are due to play Bayern on Wednesday as part of their Asia tour. It's not yet known whether Walker will feature in that match
