The Dallas Cowboys have traded star edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, a league source confirmed. Parsons, 26, is entering his fifth season in the NFL after being drafted by Dallas with the No. 12 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Packers are sending at least two first-round draft picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark to Dallas in the deal.

Parsons will sign a four-year, $188 million extension with Green Bay that includes $136 million guaranteed.

That is a cracking deal for the Packers! They are paying him a lot of money but for two firsts and Kenny Clark (who wasn't very good last year) is insane.

This might work out as a lose-lose trade. The Cowboys lost their best player, making a shaky defense a poor defense. The first round picks will help in the future but this year Dallas will be a dumpster fire. And the Packers have too much invested in Love and Parsons to let them have a strong roster across the board, and cap space that could have been saved with relatively cheap rookies for the next two years will be really tight.

Eagles struggled a bit in the season opener against the Cowboys, the game changed on a turnover by Dallas running back Sanders on the Eagles 11 yard line.

The Cowboys surprised me, I thought they would get blown out of the water but they were competitive.

In last night's game in Brazil, the Chiefs started the season with a loss. The Chargers did well, Justin Herbert putting up good figures as he threw 3 touchdowns. If the Chargers improve their defense they are a legit team.

You write the Chiefs off at your peril but I think they could struggle this season. They don't have that explosive offense, so I expect another season like last year, where they are in a lot of close games and need some Mahomes magic to get the wins.
