Not to rain on his parade but with age and injuries, is he not done?

Best for him would be league veterans minimum I'd say.
That isn't what the data says. Despite seeing the highest double team rate out of all edge rushers he still wins at a rate well above average. Presuming he goes to a good defense I'd expect many people who have written him off to be very surprised at how well he'll perform - the players he has played alongside recently have been for the most part terrible.

Really hard to work out at this point where he ends up as he likely has a lot of different potential motivations - including, a last big pay day, having the best chance to win a ring, to play with his brothers, or to be close to his wife.

Every single team should be calling him to see what he is looking for and whether it is value and can be worked into the their cap situation

Eagles agree to trade Carson Wentz to the Colts for a 2021 third-round pick and a 2022 conditional second-round pick.

Decent enough trade for the Colts, didn't give up too much, I just don't think he's that good and I don't see them winning a superbowl with him.

The 2022 2nd round pick becomes a 1st round pick if Wentz plays 70% of the snaps, or 70% and Colts make the playoffs.

Interesting to see how this works out. I'd probably lean towards Wentz being a flop in Indianapolis, but nothing would surprise me.

The Broncos are now favourites for where Deshaun Watson will take his next snap, ahead of the Panthers, Dolphins, and...Texans.

Interestingly, there is a lot of smoke around JJ Watt going to the Browns. Maybe he likes the ideas of Garrett making play more enjoyable for him and moving back to the Midwest, and thinks he'd put them in range of a ring. I think the Packers, who freed up some cap space, are the most likely spot as a combo of personal and professional desirability for him.

Some talk of Russell Wilson moving from the Seahawks? The Cowboys, Raiders, Saints and Bears being touted as possible landing spots if a blockbuster trade deal does happen.

JJ Watt going to Arizona. That was definitely unexpected.

The Cardinals are giving Watt a two-year, $31 million deal that includes $23 million guaranteed

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys have finally reached an agreement on a lucrative new contract to keep him in Dallas through the 2024 season as the second-highest paid quarterback in the NFL.

The Cowboys plan to hold a news conference Wednesday to announce a four-year deal with Prescott worth $160 million, including more than $120 million guaranteed. The only NFL contract worth more per year is the Chiefs' 10-year, $450 million deal with Patrick Mahomes.

Prescott played last season on a franchise tag, making $31.4 million, and was on course to be tagged again if the Cowboys weren't able to work out a long-term extension. The 27-year-old missed all but five games last season with a fractured ankle, but he has 106 touchdowns against 40 interceptions in 69 career games in Dallas. The two-time Pro Bowler is now locked up into his 30s, and the deal reportedly includes both a no-trade and no-tag clause.
