Will he actually be convicted of anything and if he is, what chances of him actually serving jail time.
New York (this one) lawsuit - no jail time, will be a difficult case to win a guilty verdict

GA lawsuit - 2020 election interference, obstruction of justice re: classified docs - much easier to win a guilty verdict with significant (5+ years) jail time

She really is a fruit and nut case....

In just two years, Marjorie Taylor Greene has leveraged her staunch support for Donald Trump to become one of the most influential figures in the modern Republican Party.

The far-right Georgia congresswoman may have been drowned out by the crowds at a rally outside the Manhattan courthouse earlier, but she is getting her message across in multiple media interviews.

Talking to Right Side Broadcasting Network's Brian Glenn, whom she is currently dating, Greene argued that Trump was "joining some of the most incredible people in history [by] being arrested today".

"Nelson Mandela was arrested, served time in prison," she said.

"Jesus was arrested and murdered by the Roman government."

Reiterating that the former president was being "persecuted", she added: "I just can't believe it's happening, but I'll always support him. He's done nothing wrong."

So every count is to do with invoices from Michael Cohen, it goes like this

First count: False entry of invoice from Michael Cohen
Second count: False entry in general ledger (accounting records)
Third count: False entry of check (the payment)

That repeats 10 times, there's two accounting entries for one of the invoices, which is why it adds up to 34.

Every count contains the phrase "with intent to defraud and intent to commit another crime and aid and conceal the commission thereof".

The counts are boring, the statement of facts is much more interesting

This guy has been a criminal for most of his life and has gotten away with much worse stuff than you would think. I can't see this being the thing that finally brings him down.

This is the case that is the least severe punishment should he be found guilty. There are three other cases that are considerably more punitive and two of them are potentially easier to convict.

Some commentators say this might actually help him get reelected. This just goes to show how backward most Americans are. I still can't believe there are people out there who would vote for Trump. What's even more frightening is that some would still vote for him in light of all this and this could gain him even more votes.

Donald Trump sexually abused and defamed writer E Jean Carroll, a New York jury finds in civil case.

But the former president was cleared of rape over the alleged assault in a department store in the 1990s.

The jury awarded the writer almost $5m in damages for the battery and defamation charges

He's a vile disgusting man.

If he stands again, this will definitely hurt him a bit with women, which are crucial to winning. That said, it won't hurt him much with the crazies in his base.

The expected response from Trump.

Just the usual moaning. As if it will matter to those who love or hate him.

The crazies would still vote for him but this may dent support from the floaters.
