Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

Every single time Dubois knocked down Joshua
I watched the whole fight back yesterday. Dubois absolutely battered Joshua. It should have been stopped after the 3rd knockdown. Straight from the first bell Dubois was on top of AJ and he never stopped until it was over. A brilliant performance.

We watched the fight back at work last night.

It is an even better performance on second viewing. Good for Dubois, who Joshua and his team have completely looked down on the whole time.

For all the good AJ has apparently done for boxing and all that, he's been a weirdo and a massive twat for the most part too with the transparent "I'm actually a good guy!" persona despite being anything but that. Including during this fight with his pathetic antics like the tongue, dropping guard and guiding Dubois to his stool.

He won't be allowed to retire of course, but all the above being said, he still probably deserves a better ending than crawling around the mat like a baby trying to walk. Just.

I don't know where AJ goes next. Probably a money fight with Fury. He shouldn't go anywhere near a rematch with Dubois though because the same thing will happen again.

Dubois will, obviously, be looking at the winner of Usyk v Fury but might be better fighting someoneike Zhang or Parker next.

Top Rank promo. Still the best after all this time. Much better than those flashy Riyadh Season promos.

Beterbiev vs Bivol tonight. Should be a cracker. A real 50/50 fight.

I have Bivol winning. Potentially going the distance. The undercard is decent too.

I'm rooting for Beterbiev. The odds favour Bivol though and probably make sense - there are not that many scenarios in which you'd back the 39-year-old puncher coming off an injury against the much younger, slick mover.

It's not even as if any of their previous pre-fight concerts/performances have actually been any good either. Totally pointless as well as being utter shite. The worst of both worlds.

Sorry but as much as I like these boxing match-ups, the Saudis have completely ruined sport as we used to know it.
