Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

That was a filthy knockout, Whyte didn't even know what country he was in.

Fury was very very impressive tonight, totally outclassed Whyte. I wasn't expecting that knockout, very good.

Fury must be a nightmare to fight. Massive, heavy, intelligent, skilled, heavy-handed AND fast

He's a fecking cheat code.

Great Fury. Just a class above. He was in complete control and finished like a champ. So much to like about him.

I hope (and expect) it's not his last fight. I think he's nailed on to fight the winner of Usyk-Joshua. Can't see him turning down the chance to become the first undisputed HW champion since Lennox Lewis when he'll be a clear favourite against either of those guys.

Kell Brook retires.

Decent boxer who had a good career finished on a high for him, destroying his nemesis.

Bivol hands Canelo his first defeat since 2013 when Mayweather beat him (though I still believe GGG beat him at least once only to be robbed by the judges scorecards)

They've got the result right this time but I still can't work out 115-113.

First four rounds awarded to Canelo by all three judges.

There's no way that Canelo won the first four rounds of that fight on all three scorecards. No way at all.

If he lands a big punch in a round then it just automatically goes down as his round, even if his opponent outboxes him in it.
