Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

Just watched the Lomachenko v Haney fight from the weekend.

Loma won that but not shocked at all when I heard the scores, I knew they were going Haney.

Haney looked lost in certain rounds, can't believe one judge had him by 4 rounds!
I thought Lomachenko won comfortably or it was at least it was a draw. How one judge scored the 10th round to Haney is beyond belief.

Just watched extended highlights. Looked like a good fight. But Haney looked 2 weight classes higher?

Loma looks to have got his sharpness back and I'd have scored him a draw at the very least in this fight.

Spence v Crawford officially confirmed.

Great fight and a genuine 50/50 but I fancy Crawford on points.

I'm bored of seeing Twitter posts about Fury nowadays.

In the space of 7 weeks, we've gone from Usky to WWE Wrestler Drew Mcintyre to Andy Ruiz to Francis NGannou to Jon Jones to Dempsey McKean now to Jai Opetaia, might as well throw in Chuck Norris there cos why not.

Mexico's Mauricio Lara has been stripped of his WBA featherweight belt after he was unable to make the weight for his title fight against Leigh Wood.

Still talk of the fight going ahead but hopefully it doesn't. The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) raised concerns about how heavy the champion was and did not want Lara cutting weight below 9st 2.5lbs. It meant Lara had to stop his weight cut and he tipped the scales at 9st 3.8lbs on Friday.

Wood could remain eligible to win the belt he lost to Lara in February if the rematch goes ahead.

I think I'd take Crawford.

Spence has the size and presence and volume to make it a really tough night. He's a big welter. Really a great big man should beat a great smaller man. But I think Crawford is potentially in a different category of great. An all-timer if he wins this. I think he really needs a win like this to talk about legacies and going down in history. His record doesn't really match his ability and dominance.

The promotion, or lack thereof, for Taylor v Lopez this weekend has been an embarrassment. A really difficult fight to call based on their recent performances and whilst I think that the best version of Taylor beats the best version of Lopez that we've seen so far, I can't help but wonder if the gruelling fights and his alleged fondness for the sniff are starting to catch up with him.

Mind having said that he probably looks in the best nick of his entire career whereas he looked like a smackhead on the scales for the Catterall fight.

Taylor well beaten tonight, even more so than against Catterall, imo.

Looks like the hard fights and his lifestyle outside of the ring have caught up with Taylor. Looks an absolute shadow of the fighter who beat Prograis, although I think that version would also have struggled against Lopez who was excellent

Canelo agreed to fight Jermell Charlo. Strange move really when everyone expected him to fight his brother, Jermell coming up two weight divisions is surely too much of an ask.
