Anthony Joshua Daniel Dubois fight loss future

The discussion kicks off with Joshua's shocking defeat to Dubois, where many fans express disbelief over his performance. Critics highlight Joshua's form since his losses to Usyk, suggesting that he appeared gun-shy, lacking the aggression needed in the ring. There is a palpable sense of anxiety among the commentators about Joshua's future in the sport, especially considering the multitude of knockdowns he suffered during the fight.12

As the conversation unfolds, opinions diverge on the implications of Joshua's performance. Some argue that this may signal the end of his career, emphasizing the need for him to reassess his approach or contemplate retirement. Others criticize the lack of urgency in his corner, feeling that they should have pulled him from such a one-sided contest earlier.34

The sentiment shifts slightly as fans begin to discuss potential next steps for Joshua. While some believe he may not have the skill set to reclaim his status, others hold out hope for a comeback. Dubois, credited for his impressive performance, raises questions about how Joshua will deal with future matchups against formidable opponents.56

"Dubios destroyed him there. That was a brilliant performance."

"Thought he was going to stage a comeback them ooof."

Championship rounds. This is where Eubank won the first fight but this one isn't even close.

It was never in doubt but that sealed it.

Eubank battered and knocked down twice in the last round for the icing on the cake.

Benn did slow down a bit and has pretty much been walking forward in straight lines for the last six rounds, but Eubank had absolutely nothing about him at all to punish it.

Benn will probably just be disappointed not to get the KO.

Last we'll see of Eubank I think, looked dead on his feet from the start.

The drug cloud will always hang over Benn but he was tonight. Jabbing, moving and hitting hard. Not jumping and throwing haymakers like before.

Tom

I don't think either of them are particularly good fighters. They are basically trading off their fathers but they are both a decent level below world level.

Benn totally outboxed Eubank last night and deserved to win. I'm not sure how one of the judges, John Latham, only managed to score it 116-110 - that is ridiculous

Eubank should retire now.

That was so weird. Can't recall a boxer ever looking as disinterested at Eubank Jr did last night.

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua is officially set for December 19th as a heavyweight showdown 🤯

It's a full professional fight, not an exhibition, and will be counted on both the boxers records.

Poor from AJ accepting it. He's done it for the money, obviously, but he should be thinking about title fights at this stage, not fighting YouTubers. The only thing I can think of is AJ knows he's not up to title standard, which is fair enough.

It's one thing for Tommy Fury accepting it, it's completely different when it's AJ.

Usyk has vacated the WBO, so Wardley is now the WBO heavyweight champion of the world
