This has just popped up on my notifications.

Chargers are expected to send 2022 second-round pick and a 2023 sixth-round pick to the Chicago Bears in return for Khalil Mack

AFC West is going to be so much fun.

Seahawks informed eight-time All-Pro and Pro-Bowl LB Bobby Wagner, a franchise icon, that they are releasing him. Wagner arrived in Seattle on the same 2012 day as Russell Wilson and now leaves the same day, too. End of an era in Seattle.

Also overlooked in all the QB drama, the Packers have tagged Devante Adams. No surprise but still.

Amari Cooper is heading to Cleveland from Dallas in exchange for a fifth-round pick and the swapping of sixth-round picks.

Deshaun Watson cleared (legally speaking).

Carolina seems to be favourites for a trade and it seems likely that he will be traded somewhere. Incredible player who will make an impact wherever he goes but yeah, my opinion of him (and that of the public) is not bound by a legal ruling. It will be interesting to see the reaction.

He's legally cleared of Criminal Charges. That's not to say nothing happened, but there's no proof that he did anything illegal.

They threw the worst of the evidence at the Grand Jury to try to get a criminal conviction, so that's all that will be used in a Civil court. Of course, there's a chance a different judge or lawyer could get a conviction, but it's unlikely.

Emotions will run high on this one, there'll be protests wherever he lands, but in a league where Kyle Trask, PJ Walker and Mason Rudolph are currently listed as QB1s, teams will definitely take a chance on Watson staying out of trouble

In other QB news, Kirk Cousins gets a $35m extension from the Vikings. Every player in the league should be beating a path to his agent's door!

The Saints and Panthers have made offers for Texans QB Deshaun Watson and are likely to meet with him soon. Other teams also are involved. Watson has a no-trade clause and wants to meet with teams before formally waiving it anywhere.

The Steelers agree to terms with QB Mitchell Trubisky on a two-year deal. Trubisky spent the 2021 season with Buffalo.

Cleveland Browns release Jarvis Landry. The Browns recently agreed to acquire Pro Bowler Amari Cooper for Dallas Cowboys. Buffalo and Kansas have shown interest in Landry.

Arizona Cardinals reportedly keeping running back James Conner. He agrees on a three-year, $21m deal. The Cardinals recently lost Chase Edmonds to the Dolphins.

The Miami Dolphins are re-signing DE Emmanuel Ogbah to a four-year deal worth $65m.

Alex Cappa is heading to Cincinnati on a four-year, $40m deal. Cappa started every game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at right guard and was the only player to be on the field for all of the 1328 offensive snaps in 2021.

The Bengals are set to lose defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi who has agreed terms on a three-year, $40.5m deal (including $26.35m guaranteed) with Chicago Bears.

The Buccaneers are re-signing center Ryan Jansen to a three-year, $39m deal - the deal was agreed hours after Tom Brady said he was returning to Tampa Bay.

Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms on a three-year extension with offensive tackle Jake Matthews, a deal that includes $52.5m in new money.

Green Bay Packers have signed pass rusher Preston Smith to a four-year, $52.5m extension - the Packers are releasing offensive tackle Billy Turner and pass rusher Za'Darius Smith. Other news coming out of Green Bay is that Devante Adams has informed the team he won't play on the franchise tag as negotiations on a new long-term deal aren't going well.

Devin McCourty has announced he will be back for a 13th season with the New England Patriots. McCourty agreed to a one-year, $9m deal.
