Am I being over the top when I say this could be a genuine breaking point for the US?

A significant proportion of people are refusing to believe the election results...not disputing carrying them out but outright believing they're fraudulent and the election has been stolen.

While the attention has been all on the White House, the results in the Georgia Senate races could be just as significant. Both are going to run-offs on January 5 since no candidate in either got 50%+ of the vote. If the Dems somehow win both, the Senate is in a tie and VP Harris will have the tie-breaker vote. If the GOP wins even one, we have a slender GOP majority in the Senate that can make life miserable for the Biden administration.

The sheer ludicrousness of Trump's legal challenges exposed.

Giuliani held a 90 minute briefing today that was overflowing with falsehoods and conspiracy theories as the President's legal team laid out its case for widespread voter fraud in the election.

At no point did Trump's legal team offer any proof for their allegations of widespread fraud.

You can't make the stuff up with these people.

Giuliani was all over the ship (again) and sweating so much his hair dye was dipping down his face. You can't take him seriously at all. It's beyond embarrassing. The world is watching in disbelief.

One thing America should really look at after this fiasco is the "lame duck" period between administration transitions. It makes no sense to leave a person who is being replaced in power for any length of time - the damage they can do is clearly evident with this administration.
