Inter Milan beat Monchengladbach 3-2 in Germany and victory next week at home to Shakhtar would see them qualify if Monchengladbach were to beat Real Madrid.

Liverpool have qualified for the knockout stages with a 1-0 victory over Ajax - young Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, deputising for the injured Allison, making some good saves. Atalanta and Ajax will fight it out next week to see who finishes second in the group.
