UEFA will not host this season's Champions League final in St Petersburg after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

UEFA are set to announce a new venue for the final tomorrow.

This year's Champions League final will now be held in Paris instead of St. Petersburg after Russia invaded Ukraine.

Round of 16 results this week

Bayern Munich 7 FC Red Bull Salzburg 1 (8-2 on aggregate)
Liverpool 0 Inter Milan 1 (2-1 on aggregate)
Man City 0 Sporting Lisbon 0 (5-0 on aggregate)
Real Madrid 3 PSG 1 (3-2 on aggregate)

PSG were leading 2-0 on aggregate but Benzema scored a 17-minute hat-trick in the second half to give Madrid the victory. Not gonna lie, PSG collapsing in the CL will never not be funny to me.

Mbappe will definitely be away in the summer, probably to Madrid.

Wouldn't be surprised if Pochettino is sacked now.

Ajax 0 Benfica 1 (2-3 on aggregate)
Man United 0 Atletico Madrid 1 (1-2 on aggregate)

Man United crash out of Europe, losing 0-1 at home meaning it will be another trophyless season for the Old Trafford club.

Benfica surprisingly knock Ajax out of the competition. Didn't expect Benfica to go through against an Ajax team who won all their group games.

Villarreal just spanked Juventus 3-0 (4-1 on aggregate) in Turin. Shocking scoreline for Juve but impressive for Villarreal.

Chelsea beat Lille 2-1 in France and also go through 4-1 on aggregate

Quarter Final Draw

Chelsea vs Real Madrid
Man City vs Atletico Madrid
Villarreal vs Bayern Munich
Benfica vs Liverpool

Man City will face Chelsea or Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals if they beat Atletico Madrid; Liverpool may face Bayern Munich if they both progress to the next round!

Man City struggling at home against Atletico. They are controlling the game but not creating enough chances.

Disappointing game. City will need to improve for the return leg.

It is games like this where City really miss an out and out striker. Atletico basically played a 5-5-0 formation and City found it very hard to create anything.

I still fancy City to progress but it will be a difficult night in Spain especially if Atletico can score an early goal.
