That's quite a record. Seems like these records are falling everywhere. Ajax have achieved the same feat for the first time in their history. Quite an achievement.

Costly late equaliser for Zenit means Chelsea finish runner-up and will face a group winner in the first knockout stage.

8 goals conceded in 4 games for Chelsea.

In the other 20 games they've played this season they conceded 8 goals.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United won their respective groups, while Chelsea went through as runners-up.

The three English teams who topped the group are among the eight seeded clubs, along with Ajax, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Lille.

Chelsea joins Paris St-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon, Inter Milan, Benfica, Salzburg and Villarreal as the non-seeded sides in the draw.

The draw is on Monday.

Man City hammering Sporting.

Might as well switch over to PSG - Real, this match all but over in 18 minutes

PSG 1 Real Madrid 0
Sporting 0 Man City 5

Man City total dominated that game from the off. The tie was over after 20 minutes. Superb support from the Sporting Lisbon fans, 0-5, they stayed beyond the final whistle singing away, brilliant.

Mbappe scored an injury-time winner for PSG after Messi had earlier missed a penalty. Real Madrid might fancy their chances of knocking PSG out in the return leg.

A good win for Liverpool tonight against Inter.

Finished 2-0, puts Liverpool in control of the tie now but Inter will feel they deserved more out of the game as they played very well for long parts.

I was quite impressed with inter. An ageing team that held its own for 80 minutes, pressed Thiago and co making them look ordinary. They were never going to sustain this over 90 minutes though and it showed.
