Silent Hill: Townfall promises to be a full-length, self-contained psychological horror experience. For those who are fans of the franchise, this could be a thrilling addition to the lore and atmosphere we've come to love. The trailer showcases various elements that fans can expect, from eerie environments to intense gameplay moments that are sure to keep players on the edge of their seats.
Director Jon McKellan has infused the Otherworld with a unique aesthetic, reminiscent of the original Silent Hill. Still, with a distinct fever-dream quality, everything is tinged with unsettling shades of red. As Simon ventures further into this haunting environment, he finds himself armed with a pistol, but the danger is ever-present. The Otherworld is crawling with grotesque, fleshy monsters that will attack on sight, making stealth and strategy essential for survival.

Max Verstappen has signed a new long-term Red Bull contract to end speculation over his future.
Verstappen's current contract expires at the end of 2028, but it is understood his management held talks with McLaren earlier this year over a switch for 2027. The new contract will see him stay at Red Bull until at least 2030.
Brighton & Hove Albion have rejected a £50million bid from Liverpool for winger Yankuba Minteh.
The 22-year-old is currently recovering from surgery on a right leg injury sustained in a 3-0 friendly win at home to Roma earlier this month.
Minteh is expected to be out of action for another eight weeks, but sources with knowledge of the matter say he is keen on the potential move if the clubs can agree a fee.

Footballers Toby Alderweireld, Robbie Keane and Ashley Young, and former Tottenham manager Thomas Frank will join Match of the Day as pundits and BBC Sport will launch four new YouTube formats for the new men's football season.
The BBC Football YouTube channel will house the quartet of new shows including FANS², The Truth About Football, Golden Goal and Football Hub.
Fans can look forward to a range of topics being covered, from match previews and reviews to in-depth discussions on players and tactics. The goal is to create a more interactive experience where viewers can engage with the content and share their thoughts.
"Football means something different to every fan, and this season BBC Sport is putting those fans even more firmly at the heart of the game," said BBC director of sport Alex Kay-Jelski.
"We're bringing together the unrivalled expertise of former players and managers with the passion, personality and perspectives of supporters to create a richer football experience wherever and however audiences follow the game."
This initiative not only enhances the viewing experience but also signifies the BBC's dedication to adapting to the evolving landscape of sports media, ensuring that fans have access to quality content wherever they are.
As well as Match of the Day's Premier League coverage, BBC will broadcast two matches from each round of the FA Cup as well as one Bundesliga match every week on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

I love all of the electronic and glitch elements throughout. It represents certain broken emotions really well. The emotional power, in general, is fantastic here, with so many moments where the emotions build and build, and the release is amazing.

In this new showcase, we get a closer look at Lara Croft in action. She's as agile as ever, and her aim with those iconic dual pistols is simply spot-on. She's got a variety of weapons at her disposal, including an SMG. It seems like there will be plenty of options to mix things up!
Most interesting is the addition of a Focus bar, which fills up when you take/dish out damage or avoid it altogether, allowing you to slow down time and get a few well-placed shots at the right moments.

A year and a week after the original release, the highly anticipated DLC, "Man of Honor," for Mafia: The Old Country is finally here! You can grab it now on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
Now, before you dive in, it's important to note that "Man of Honor" isn't a direct continuation of the main storyline. Instead, it offers a side adventure featuring our protagonist, Enzo Favara, who has been tasked with a critical mission by none other than Ennio Salieri, the notorious Don from the original Mafia game. While details about Salieri's ultimate goals remain a mystery, players can expect to engage in two new chapters filled with various Jobs and Challenges.
Both chapters are accessible in Free Ride Mode, where you can take on exciting tasks like races and assassinations. If you perform well, there are some fantastic rewards waiting for you, including five new Charms, three guns, and three knives - one of which has a rather amusing feature of bouncing off a target's head!
But that's not all! The DLC also introduces three new vehicles, two new horses, three outfits, and five hats. It seems that crime in Valle Dorata really does pay off!
For the first time in franchise history, players will have the opportunity to dive into a campaign mission during the beta phase! This is a significant shift for the series, which has traditionally kept campaign content separate from beta testing.
Activision has recently unveiled a wealth of details about the beta, which is set to kick off this Friday. The official Call of Duty X account shared a comprehensive image outlining all the content that players can expect to access. It looks like there's a lot more to explore than many of us anticipated!
Alongside the aforementioned campaign mission, the first weekend includes five 6v6 multiplayer maps: Rooftops, Silkworm, Transit 213, Cachette, and Lotus. On those maps, you can expect Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, as well as the new and yet-unrevealed Inflation game mode. The recently revealed Kill Block mode is part of the first session in both its 3v3 and 10v10 variants, too.
Luckily for players who don't want to pre-order to play the early-access portion of the beta, the open portion is more exciting, as it includes new content on top of what's available in the first weekend. The second takes place 28th August - 1st September on the same platforms, now with the addition of Nintendo Switch 2 - another first for Call of Duty.
