PlayStation has just announced a limited edition PS5 console bundle to celebrate the upcoming release of Marvel's Wolverine, which is set to launch on September 15. This bundle is a treat for those who appreciate unique designs, as it features a vibrant yellow colour scheme inspired by Wolverine's classic suit. The console and controller both showcase a striking claw slash design, with a fierce image of Wolverine himself prominently displayed on the console. However, it's worth noting that while this is a bundle, it appears that the only additional item included is the controller - sadly, the vertical stand is not part of the package. For those who love the design but aren't looking to purchase a whole new console, Sony has got you covered! They will be selling console covers for both the PS5 (Slim) and PS5 Pro models, allowing you to give your existing machine a Wolverine makeover. Plus, PS5 Pro owners will have the option to choose a silvery white cover, dubbed "adamantium," along with a matching controller. Here's a quick rundown of the pricing for the new gear: PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – Marvel's Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle: $649.99 US / £569.99 GBP / €649.99 EUR / ¥96,980 JPY RRP DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel's Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition: $84.99 US / £74.99 GBP / €84.99 EUR / ¥12,480 JPY RRP PlayStation 5 Console Covers – Battle Yellow Limited Edition: $74.99 US / £64.99 GBP / €74.99 EUR / ¥9,980 JPY RRP PlayStation 5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel's Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition: $74.99 US / £64.99 GBP / €74.99 EUR / ¥9,980 JPY RRP PlayStation 5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel's Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition: $74.99 US / £64.99 GBP / €74.99 EUR RRP DualSense Wireless Controller – Marvel's Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition: $84.99 US / £74.99 GBP / €84.99 EUR RRP It's also interesting to note that previous announcements about Marvel's Wolverine have sparked discussions regarding PlayStation's controversial decision to phase out physical discs for new PS5 games starting in January 2028. While Insomniac Games has confirmed that the game will indeed come with a disc, many fans have expressed their concerns about the future of physical media. Comments on the YouTube trailer for the console bundle reflect this sentiment, with some fans joking that "Wolverine would have fought for physical media rights."

It is one of the more striking episodes in the Zuo Zhuan, and it is usually treated by historians as a mix of political record, moral commentary, and later literary shaping rather than as a straightforward clinical account. A few points are worth adding: The source: the story comes from the Zuo Zhuan, which is invaluable for Spring and Autumn history but was compiled later and often frames events to draw moral lessons about rulers, ministers, omens, and legitimacy. The illness narrative: the detail about the disease entering the gaohuang became important because it turned a specific royal illness into a lasting idiom, bìng rù gāo huāng, meaning an incurable condition. The omen structure: dreams, divination, medical consultation, and the new harvest wheat all fit a pattern common in early Chinese historical writing, where natural events and misfortune are linked to the ruler’s conduct and fate. The death account: falling into the toilet is one of those highly memorable court anecdotes that appears designed to underline the humiliation of a ruler whose authority had already collapsed physically and symbolically. The slave being buried with him: this reflects older elite burial practices in which attendants or retainers could be sacrificed or interred to serve the dead ruler in the afterlife, though the reliability of each detail is hard to test. In wider terms, the episode is useful because it shows how early Chinese texts preserved both political history and exemplary storytelling. It also demonstrates how a single court incident could produce a phrase still used centuries later. If you want a further angle, I can also set out: the political position of Jin under Duke Jing, how the Zuo Zhuan uses this episode morally, or the broader history of human sacrifice and elite burial in early China.

In a heartfelt moment during his Hall of Fame induction speech, former San Francisco 49ers running back Roger Craig bravely shared his diagnosis of dementia. Craig, who was a key player in the 1980s for the 49ers, winning three Super Bowls alongside legends like Joe Montana and Jerry Rice, spoke candidly about how head injuries throughout his career may have contributed to his condition. Craig's openness sheds light on the often-overlooked issue of player health and safety in the NFL, particularly concerning the long-term effects of concussions and other head injuries. His courage in discussing his diagnosis not only raises awareness but also encourages other players and fans to engage in conversations about the importance of mental health in sports. It's vital to recognise the sacrifices athletes make and the potential consequences they face long after their playing days are over. His story is a reminder of the need for continued advocacy for better safety measures and support systems for players. "Two things can be true," Craig said. "Football gave me opportunities beyond anything I could imagine. It helped shape the man I became. At the same time, we know more today about brain health than when I played, and I hope sharing my story encourages people to pay attention to their health and seek help when something doesn't feel right." Craig said that his intention for sharing his diagnosis is to help others who may be experiencing a similar situation. "The changes were gradual," he said. "At first, they were easy to dismiss as normal aging. Over time, my family noticed it, too. Ultimately, it led us to seek answers from my doctor." Craig was a staple during San Francisco's dominant run through the 1980s, winning three Super Bowls alongside fellow Hall of Famers Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Ronnie Lott, among others. In 1985, Craig became the first player in NFL history to top 1,000 yards both rushing and receiving in a single season. Dementia is a general term for a cognitive decline that carries symptoms affecting memory, thinking and speech, among other neurological conditions. Vascular dementia is a specific type of dementia that is caused by reduced blood flow to the brain. It is the second-most common type of dementia, behind Alzheimer's disease. "I want people to know this diagnosis doesn't define me," Craig said. "I am still Roger Craig. I am still a father, a husband, a teammate, a friend and someone who loves this game and the people who brought it to my life. If sharing my story helps even one family or one former player, then it's worth it. Football gave me everything."
Starring Adam Driver as a young Senate staffer, tasked with investigating 'Enhanced Interrogation Techniques' (aka torture) by the CIA after 9/11. After learning that the CIA destroyed video tapes of their handling of detainees, he follows the paper trail instead. Driver is excellent, as is Annette Benning as his boss, Senator Feinstein. It's a fantastic political thriller.
Enjoyed most of it, so far, up until the most recent chapter in the empty office building, where I'm standing around waiting for the business robots to unlock doors for me. That's a minor complaint though in what has otherwise been an entertaining playthrough so far. The storyline is solid and, whether you choose to approach an objective with stealth or combat, either way is a lot of fun

A fifth Matrix movie is officially in the works at Warner Bros., with Drew Goddard writing and directing the next instalment and Lana Wachowski on board as an executive producer. Whether Keanu Reeves will return as Neo remains a mystery, but it can't be a Matrix movie without Neo. When recently asked if Reeves and members of the original cast would be back, Goddard responded: "I can't speak to that." While reports suggest we shouldn't expect The Matrix 5 before 2027, Warner Bros. has yet to announce an official release date or confirm which cast members will return.
